Our Story
STRADINI — est. 1996
STRADINI is not a new story. It is a new chapter of a story that began in 1996.
At a time when the internet was just starting to enter our homes, a passion for cars gave birth to the first garage, the first photographs, and the first attempts to bring the automotive world onto a computer screen. Two friends began calling themselves Frajer YKS and Macher T-Bone – and thus Frajer and Macher Garage was born.
1996: Frajer & Macher Garage
It all started with two enthusiasts, a garage, and automobiles. There were no social networks, YouTube, or Instagram. There were magazines, photographs, paper posters, a computer, and a desire to show others what we love about cars. Right here, the foundation of a story that continues to this day was created.
1998: garage.sk
Automotive passion moved to the internet. garage.sk was born – one of the first steps on the path to our own automotive medium. Gradually, photographs, articles, meetings, tuning, new cars, and people who shared the same relationship with automobiles began to grow. The project was also noticed outside the automotive community. Historical pages of garage.sk even appeared in PC REVUE magazine. Today, it is a small piece of Slovak internet history. For us, it is a reminder of a time when creating your own automotive website was a real adventure.
2017: AUTOFUNIA
Over the years, both the internet and the project itself changed. garage.sk gradually transformed into AUTOFUNIA – a broader automotive magazine dedicated to cars, tuning, events, photography, and car culture. Hundreds of articles and thousands of photographs followed. A different name. The same passion.
2020+: ELIAQ
The next chapter was named ELIAQ. The automotive archive gradually expanded with personal stories, our own cars, historical materials, license plates, tuning, reports, and photographs from the world of automobiles. What started as a small project in 1996 was no longer just about a single website. It was a collection of nearly three decades of automotive stories.
2026: STRADINI
A new chapter. The same passion. STRADINI emerges as a natural continuation of this journey. It is no longer just about small cars. It is about cars with emotion – automobiles that have character, bring a smile, remind you of a specific place or period, and stay in your memory long after the engine turns off. STRADINI is a magazine, an archive, and a space for stories about cars, people, roads, and the places that connect them.

Our Philosophy
We don’t evaluate cars. We tell their stories. Numbers tell you how fast a car accelerates. Technical data tells you how many horsepower it has. But only a story tells you why a person remembers it.
